Peller Estate Winery

This blog will feature wineries that we have visited throughout Ontario. There are dozens of wineries in Ontario, and many of the wines made here are either world-renowned or becoming such. The first winery that I am going to talk about is Peller Estate Winery located at 290 John Street East in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We had lunch here, a four or five course meal with wine pairing for each course. Winemaker Katie Dickieson and winery chef and TV personality Jason Parsons work togethher to create a unique dining experience. It is certainly worth having lunch here, but you should make a reservation as the restaurant fills quickly.
On the day that we visited, the Ferrari Club was having a car meet and they stopped here for wine tasting or lunch. It was a once in a lifetime chance to see over 100 Ferraris in one place at the same time. I am not much of a wine connoiseur, but this winery and others that I will be talking about in future posts are worth a visit.
